What a beautiful spring we are enjoying in Village Green!  After the deep freezes of December 2022 and March 2023, our landscaping has recovered and looks beautiful!  The Armstrong Maples that were recently removed will be replaced with a healthier variety in the fall.  Many thanks to Susan Kabe (Landscaping Chair), Lee Baerwald, Joanne Guichard and Philippe Michaud for their dedicated work.

Pat O’Connor (ACC Chair), with Howard Cooper, Susan DeBardeleben and Cliff Deese, oversaw the second round of cleaning 22 roofs.  The remainder of Phase I roofs will be cleaned in 2025.  

Lamar Crosby (Property Chair), along with Jim Muster, Larry Shealy and Joyce Teitelman, continue to investigate the upgrade and safety issues of the garden path, drainage issues, and covering Phase I and Phase II mailboxes at a lower cost than previously shared.  

You may remember an HOA meeting was announced for April 2024 specifically in regards to a proposed clubhouse.  After the proposal was defeated 22 for/35 against in an online survey, the Board made the decision to cancel the meeting.  Please mark your calendar now for the annual HOA meeting on November 12.  

Several social events have been planned recently for all residents.  If you haven’t participated, you are encouraged to join in the fun.  Some of these activities include:

The Pavilion is available for private functions.  A signup calendar and rules are located inside the double doors of the grill.
